About AceMyth
AceMyth, aka Alexander Smith, is an American electronic music producer and DJ. Hailing from Detroit, Smith has been building momentum in the underground club and festival scene with his high-energy live sets and heavy sound design. Known for mixing trap, dubstep and bass house, Ace likes to bend the rules of genre and has created a diverse style while maintaining his signature sound, characterized by gnarly bass tones, memorable synth melodies and dark, cinematic atmospheres.
With support from industry titans such as Zeds Dead, Ganja White Night, Griz, Tchami, Tiesto, AC Slater, Dr Fresch and more, AceMyth is emerging as a rising icon in the electronic music world.
Smith began producing in the early 2010’s, and built his following with viral remixes including his bootleg of Dr Dre’s Xxplosive which went #1 on Hype Machine. In 2017 AceMyth’s track “Blink” appeared on Griz’s All Good Records compilation; the same year he also released the Mythik EP, a collection of instrumentals which led to multiple commercial placements with The Blacklist, Converse, Forza Motorsports and more.
After a brief hiatus, the producer returned stronger than ever with singles “Kick It” and “Combustion”on Ganja White Night’s SubCarbon imprint, a collaboration with Masteria titled “Do It” which dropped on Tchami’s Confession, and a single “Damage” with Protohype’s burgeoning label Underdog Records. In 2021 AceMyth continued developing his forward-thinking bass sound on a collaboration with long-time collaborator Super Future titled “Bandit” and a neck-breaking single “Break It Down”.
